Gagan is a proven consumer cybersecurity leader with more than 20 years’ experience driving innovation and monetization strategies for technology brands. Prior to McAfee, Gagan held the role of chief product officer at NortonLifeLock, leading product, strategy, e-commerce, customer success, product marketing, engineering, and design. Gagan previously spent several years at Avast, first serving as president of mobile, before moving to chief product officer.
Gagan holds a reputation for leading and developing teams to excellence. He is known for flawless engineering and product design centered around the end-to-end customer experience.
Prior to Avast, Gagan held a variety of roles leading product, strategy and operations at a number of consumer-focused companies.
Gagan earned a Master of Public Administration from Harvard University, an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Science from the University of California at Berkeley.
